About

Katy is an experienced auditor, regulator, and audit quality expert. She previously served four years in the Division of Registration and Inspections of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) as an inspector, focusing on quality control and audit performance. She worked with teams in areas in planning, inspections, and remediation for the largest Global Network Firms. Prior to her tenure at the PCAOB, she was an audit manager at a US GNF firm, managing the audits of publicly-traded companies. Her primary industries were technology, manufacturing, and consumer goods.  

Katy has lived on both coasts of the U.S. and has also spent the first part of her life halfway across the globe. A native Chinese speaker, she attended secondary school in China prior to moving to the U.S. 

She has a Bachelors in Accounting and Finance from the University of  Maryland, College Park. She lives in Orange County, California.
