About

Jung joins JGA with more than 25 years of public accounting and audit regulation experience. Jung spent eight years at the PCAOB and most recently was an Inspection Leader, where his work focused on audit quality and compliance of global network firms. Throughout his experience, he led and oversaw inspections of audits of the world’s largest domestic and international banks, broker dealers, hedge funds, investment banks, and mutual funds. He was part of the PCAOB’s Banking Inspections Group and has worked for three of the Big Four in Japan and the U.S.                                                                            
Most recently, Jung was a founding partner of a CPA firm providing accounting and auditing services to companies.  He is based in New York.

  • Fair values and goodwill impairment
  • Hard-to-measure investments (level 2 and level 3 securities)

  • Specialization in Banking, Investment banking, Hedge Funds, Private Equity industry and experience in various other industries
  • Audits of internal control over financial reporting "ICFR"
  • International Financial Reporting Standards (gained “IFRS Certification” from The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 2011)
  • SEC financial reporting and disclosure requirements
  • US GAAP/IFRS conversion
  • Fluent in Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and conversant in Japanese
